Every person, firm or corporation engaged in the business of maintaining or operating a junk shop or junkyard shall pay a license to the county of Monterey in the sum of fifty dollars per year, payable quarterly in advance, and in addition thereto the sum of one dollar per year, payable in advance, for every wagon or other vehicle used in connection with the junk shop or junkyard.
