A. Compensation. Members of the commission shall receive compensation for attendance at commission meetings as part of their compensation as councilmembers in an amount set by the city council. Any such compensation shall be in addition to the salary set for serving strictly as a councilmember pursuant to city Ordinance 79-12, as amended, with the total not to exceed the amounts prescribed in Government Code Section 36516.

B. Expenses. The salaries prescribed in subsection A of this section are inclusive of vehicle expenses incurred in the performance of duties within the boundaries of the city, but are exclusive of any other amount payable to a member of the commission as reimbursement for other actual and necessary expenses incurred in the performance of official duties.
