Members of commissions shall be appointed by the city council for a term of two years except for the first appointment pursuant to this chapter in which case three members shall be appointed for two years and two members shall be appointed for one year except that members of the planning commission appointed previously shall serve until the expiration of that term. Once appointed, members shall serve until his or her successor is appointed. (Ord. 2006-05 § 1, 2006)
