A. Any permanent sign lawfully existing prior to the adoption of this chapter and not conforming to the provisions contained in this chapter is declared to be a lawfully nonconforming sign and may remain as such.

B. No such nonconforming sign shall in any way be altered, relocated, replaced or reworded unless the sign can be made to conform to all provisions of this chapter. Nothing in this section shall be construed to prohibit the normal maintenance and repair of lawfully nonconforming signs. (Ord. 2023-05 § 3 (Exh.
