12.24.040 Designation of areas of private property.

The provisions of this section shall not apply to areas or private property until the following have occurred:
A. The owner or operator has requested the city council to so designate the area for applicability.
B. The owner or operator of each commercial establishment has caused to be posted in a conspicuous place, a notice made of or painted upon solid, permanent material, not less than seventeen by twenty-two inches in size, or larger than twenty-four by thirty inches, with lettering not less than one inch in height to the effect that riding bicycles and/or skateboards (as applicable) is prohibited.
