It is unlawful for any person to bring any animal, other than a dog on a leash or a cat, in or upon any city park, or to bring any animal in or upon any playground, including schoolyards when such areas are under the control of the city parks and recreation department. The parks and recreation director shall post or cause to be posted signs at or near the entrances to the above-mentioned areas giving notice of this provision. (Ord. 90-3 § 2, 1990)
