Any person, firm or corporation violating any of the terms of this chapter is guilty of a misdemeanor, and upon conviction thereof shall be punished by a fine not to exceed three hundred dollars or by imprisonment in the county jail of the county at the rate of one day for each two dollars of such fine, or by both such fine and imprisonment.
